Unlike most competitors all Dahlstrom Roll Tooling is designed and built in house at our facility in Cleveland, Ohio. We have a complete machine shop equipped with the state-of-the-art, five-axis and high speed hard turning lathes.
Dahlstrom has available the most advanced roll design software package in the world to aid design of roll form tooling. The design software allows our designers to perform stress analysis of the metal as the forming process takes place. This feature enables the designer to determine the proper forming process before the rolls are even manufactured.
Having the best software is not enough though. The software is only an extension of a good designer. Fortunately, Dahlstrom's design team is not only experienced but also knowledgeable. If Dahlstrom can't do it, nobody can!
Finally, Dahlstrom has a variety of in-stock roll formers available to test each set of tooling prior to shipment. This service ensures an acceptable part before the tooling ships.
