The ideal candidate should posses the following skills;

• 4-year college degree or equivalent experience
• 3-5 years experience selling capital equipment
• Capable of maximizing sales, generate qualified leads and penetrate viable new markets
• Ability to interface with customers on all levels
• Ability to work independently, travel extensively
  throughout assigned territory, and maintain a home
  office
• Partner closely with existing sales network to promote market expansion
• Committed to innovation and quality and actively participates in support programs and developmental projects
• Must have a proven track record of outside sales success in equipment sales
• Must have good communication, presentation and organizational skills
• Excellent relationship builder with key decision makers

As a plus - The candidate should have demonstrated the ability to hire and train independent manufacturer reps and dealers.
